Cookie and Preference Notice

See how AsKrs remembers language choices and uses small client-side caches to improve repeat visits.

Language preference

A preference cookie and matching local storage value may be used to remember your selected language and avoid forcing a new locale choice on every visit.

Automatic locale fallback

When you open a non-localized entry path, AsKrs checks your saved preference first. If none exists, Korean region signals from the hosting edge and Korean browser language can route you to Korean; otherwise the site falls back to English.

Data caches

Weather, exchange, and gold data may be cached locally for a short time so pages load faster and can fall back gracefully when providers are temporarily unavailable.

Advertising and sponsored placements

AsKrs may show clearly labeled advertising placements in production. If no ad is available, the page keeps a reserved layout shell instead of shifting the surrounding content.

Anonymous search session storage

AsKrs may store a short-lived anonymous session identifier in session storage when you use search. This helps reduce duplicate internal search logs and improves the quality of popularity rankings without creating an account profile.
