These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and PulseLock for use of PulseLock and related backend services. By using the service, you agree to these terms.
Service
PulseLock provides lock screen widgets, home screen widgets, smartwatch surfaces, wallpaper templates, theme packs, alerts, and snapshots for supported financial, weather, and air-quality data. Features can vary by device, operating system, country, app version, store availability, data provider availability, and entitlement status.
Free Access
The service can be used with a free plan. Free access may include limits on widget count, watchlist size, alert count, refresh frequency, exports, theme access, watch features, and provider-backed data usage. Free limits can change as the service, provider costs, and platform rules change.
Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your device, email, app store account, and login credentials secure. You must provide accurate information when creating or managing an account. You may delete account data from Account and privacy controls in the app or by contacting support.
Subscriptions and Purchases
- Paid features may include subscriptions, lifetime unlocks, theme packs, design packs, export credits, premium alerts, refresh capacity, exports, and watch features.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled through the App Store or Google Play before the renewal deadline shown by the store.
- Trial terms, renewal price, billing period, and cancellation details are shown before purchase when a trial or subscription is offered.
- One-time purchases unlock the described product for the app account and platform rules that apply at the time of purchase.
- Purchase restoration is available in the app. Backend entitlement checks are the source of truth for premium server actions.
- Refunds and subscription management are handled through the App Store or Google Play unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Launch Access and Store Availability
Public App Store and Google Play links are shown only when official listings are available. Before public listing availability, launch access, account support, and app review questions are handled through the contact and support pages.
Acceptable Use
You may not misuse the service, bypass entitlement checks, scrape or resell provider data, reverse engineer protected service components, interfere with rate limits, abuse watch tokens or widget payloads, submit fraudulent purchase events, attack the backend, or use the service in a way that violates law, store rules, provider terms, or other users' rights.
Data Accuracy and Availability
Market, weather, foreign exchange, ETF, stock, crypto, and air-quality data can be delayed, unavailable, inaccurate, stale, or changed by providers. Alerts and widgets may be delayed by operating system scheduling, network conditions, provider limits, store rules, device settings, battery modes, and backend availability. You should not rely on the service for emergency, safety-critical, medical, financial trading, or time-critical decisions.
Widgets, Wallpapers, and Watch Features
Widgets, Live Activities, watch widgets, complications, tiles, and wallpapers depend on platform capabilities. iOS wallpapers must be saved or exported and set manually through supported iOS behavior. Android wallpaper behavior depends on supported Android APIs and device settings.
Third-Party Services
The service integrates with app stores, RevenueCat, push notification systems, hosting providers, and market, weather, and air-quality data providers. Provider keys are not embedded in public clients or widget payloads. Their terms and availability can affect the service.
Intellectual Property
The app, service design, software, theme packs, wallpaper templates, branding, and original content are owned by PulseLock or its licensors. You receive a limited, non-transferable right to use the service under these terms and applicable store rules.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, abuse the service, create security risk, submit fraudulent purchases, or use the service unlawfully. You may stop using the service at any time and may request account deletion.
Disclaimers
The service is provided as available and without warranties to the fullest extent allowed by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, exact data accuracy, alert delivery time, investment outcomes, or availability of every feature on every device.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, PulseLock is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, trading losses, investment losses, provider outages, device scheduling delays, or unauthorized account access caused by factors outside our reasonable control.
Changes
We may update these terms as the service changes. The effective date above shows when this page was last updated. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
