Privacy

1. Data we collect

• Email address, profile name, and profile image received from sign-in providers (Google, Kakao, Apple — Apple may return a private relay email)
• One-way SHA-256 hash of your IP address (for abuse detection; retained for 30 days)
• Your device/browser User-Agent string (for abuse detection)
• Topics, comments, votes, reactions, and reports you create

2. How we use it

• Account identification and session management
• Content display and statistical aggregation
• Detecting abuse, duplicate accounts, and automated traffic
• Compliance with legal obligations and dispute resolution

3. Retention

Upon account deletion, all identifying information is anonymised after a 30-day grace period. IP hashes are automatically purged after 30 days. Content may remain with the author attributed anonymously.

4. Third-party sharing

We do not share personal information with third parties except as required by law.

5. Sub-processors

We use Google AdSense, Google OAuth, Kakao OAuth, Apple Sign-in, Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (push delivery), and Cloudflare to operate the service. Each sub-processor's own privacy policy applies to data they handle.

6. Your rights

You may access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your data at any time. Account deletion is available directly from the account section of your profile page.

7. Advertising

AsKrs uses Google AdSense. Cookies and advertising identifiers used by AdSense partners are governed by Google advertising policies.

8. Cookie controls

Cookies keep you signed in and may support external advertising widgets. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can turn off Google ad cookies at Google Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com). Disabling cookies may limit some features, such as staying signed in or loading an advertising widget.
