Should companies block deployments that lack automated tests?
A rule blocking releases without automated tests also needs a scope for the changes checked and a process for urgent fixes. Meaningful coverage of errors and release responsibility matter more than test counts alone. Should such a rule be required, conditional, covered by existing practice or unnecessary?
