Why this is an issue

Reports said proposals in SK Hynix labor negotiations included paying a substantial share of bonuses in stock and adjusting wages when the company makes a loss. The union questioned consistency with the intent of prior agreements and the transfer of business risks to employees. An existing program in which workers voluntarily choose to convert compensation into shares differs from a proposal requiring payment in shares. Payment timing, sale restrictions, price-fluctuation risks, and trust in earlier agreements should be considered together; a reported proposal is not itself a condition already in force. Question review (2026-09-14): The original poll was closed because the headline and broad choices did not clearly identify what respondents were judging. Its question, choices, votes, comments, URLs and sources are preserved. The new poll is a separate question with a newly defined scope, not an equivalent version of the old survey. Do not combine their results or compare them as a time series. Separate question: https://askrs.com/en/t/news-scope-20260914-71
